About Health Systems Transformation Platform:

The Health Systems Transformation Platform (HSTP) (https://www.hstp.org.in/) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing health policy and systems research in India. Our mission is to empower Indian health systems to effectively meet the needs of the population. We achieve this by conducting research focused on health systems redesign, building the capabilities of various stakeholders, and fostering meaningful policy dialogue in collaboration with both Indian and international institutions in the field.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated public health Associate Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, with an MPH or MD in Community Medicine, and at least three years of relevant experience. The Associate Specialist - HPSR will play a crucial role in connecting with participants, coordinating online training programs, and supporting the overall success of our health policy and systems research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domain Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of public health principles and practices.
  • Program Coordination: Effectively coordinate and manage online training programs, ensuring smooth operation and participant engagement.
  • Assignment Correction: Review and correct assignments submitted by students, providing constructive feedback.
  • Performance Review: Monitor and evaluate student performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing support as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with students and faculty, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Report Drafting: Prepare and draft comprehensive reports for faculty, summarizing program outcomes, student performance, and other relevant metrics.

 

Qualifications & Skills required:

  • MPH or MD in Community Medicine.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public health or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with participants and foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Desirable:

Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other online training tools.

 

Remuneration:

The remuneration will be determined on the basis candidate’s qualification, relevant experience and salary history.
