The report aims to conduct a Comprehensive Gap Assessment of the District Hospitals (DHs) in Chhattisgarh in alignment with the Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) 2022. It seeks to identify and address existing gaps in healthcare services provided by DHs, focusing on infrastructure, clinical services, critical and emergency care, drugs, diagnostics, human resources, and supportive services.

By utilizing a systematic approach and employing Google Forms for data collection, the assessment aims to ensure thorough evaluation and analysis of each DH's compliance with IPHS guidelines. The outcomes envisaged include improved access to healthcare services, continuum of care, availability of critical care services, reduced out-of-pocket expenditure, and enhanced quality of services, aligning with the goals of the National Health Policy and Sustainable Development Goals for achieving Universal Health Coverage. Through ongoing data analysis and feedback, the report aims to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing healthcare delivery at DHs in Chhattisgarh.
