Health Systems Transformation Platform (HSTP) is supporting Government of Odisha to strengthen its health systems and one of the important pillars of this support is to development of management leadership competencies of physicians involved in mid-level leadership roles. HSTP is collaborating with Athulya CIP to implement this Leadership Development Program for Dept. Health and Family Welfare using ‘Causing Incredible Performance’ Framework. The second cohort of this four-month intervention programme was initiated on 7th November 2023. Athulya CIP will be primarily coaching individual participants to apply the CIP Framework to achieve incredible performance on Key Result Areas (KRAs) agreed. It supports HSTP and the Government broadly on:
1. Identifying potential participants and in consultation with them, develop Key Result Areas and other progress parameters within the purview of the CIP Framework.
2. Implement the CIP framework for the selected participants according to the proposed method
(workshops and individual coaching sessions).
3. Monitoring the progress of participants and taking relevant steps to support them through the learning journey.
4. Documentation of the intervention jointly with HSTP and other key stakeholders to make learnings available for a wider audience.
HSTP-Athulya CIP started this programme with the Dept. Health and Family Welfare, Government of Odisha at the end of 2022 by training the first cohort of physicians from the state. The CIP programme was earlier implemented across various non-government and government departments. HSTP collaborated with Athulya CIP to adapt CIP to the health context for pilot implementation in Odisha.
