In India, a range of Union and state legislations and regulatory mechanisms have a bearing on different spheres of people’s personal and professional lives, including their health and healthcare. This compilation of health-related regulations grew out of our work on regulation, accountability, and monitoring of health care services. The repository aims to provide easy access to acts, rules, notifications, programs, guidelines, and reports issued by the Government of India and state governments. Most of the documents in the database have been collected over time from various sources and build upon the compilation put together by Mr. Sunil Nandraj and Ms. Anagha Khot.
